Annual Performance Report
Rady Children’s Institute for Genomic Medicine
San Diego-based non-profit Rady Children’s Institute for Genomic Medicine is part of the Rady Children’s Hospital Health Center family and is focused on advancing research and implementation of rapid Whole Genome Sequencing™ (rWGS®) for babies and children in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
At the end of each fiscal year, RCIGM produces a Performance Report to highlight the Institute’s accomplishments in the previous year, as well as outline plans and priorities for the coming year.
Previously, the report had been generated in house, but in 2021 the Institute hired Brightside to help elevate the quality of the design and writing to truly showcase the Institute’s extraordinary achievements.
The client received such positive feedback about the 2021 report, they hired Brightside to partner with them to produce the FY2022 report as well.
Producing this lengthy (100+ pages) report is a highly collaborative project and one we are extremely proud of. For the FY22 report, in addition to the design and layout, Dave also shot several of the photos including staff headshots as well as images of staff members in action. Copy for both reports came from numerous disparate sources and Suzanne provided extensive writing, editing and proofreading support, which helped communicate the Institute’s key achievements in a logical order and cohesive voice.
